Bribie Island Boat Charters

Pumicestone Passage

Bribie Island, just 45 minutes north of Brisbane Airport, lies along the coast, creating the sheltered waterway of Pumicestone Passage.

Pumicestone Passage is home to dolphins, dugongs and sea turtles, and is part of Moreton Bay Marine Park.

There is always great fishing in Pumicestone Passage - flathead, bream, mackerel, tailor and snapper being just a few of the most sought after fish. Mud crabs and blue-swimmers also abound - you’ll always see the tell-tale crab floats out on the Passage.

Pumicestone Passage offers safe family swim and water-sports, with the water warm for most of the year. There is also plenty of opportunity for bush-walking on tracks that lead from the shore line across Bribie Island.

Bribie Island Boat Charters hires self-drive BBQ and fishing boats for non-licenced boaters, giving you a fabulous chance to experience all of the best the Pumicestone Passage has to offer.
